About Us

Welcome to OxCNPAIR

Oxford China Public Affairs and International Relations Association (OxCNPAIR) is the first research-based Chinese think-tank platform in Oxford. For the public benefit, OxCNPAIR operates to advance the collective knowledge regarding China’s future trajectory and global political economy amongst young professionals and industry elites. In an era when China is stepping into the center of global platform, it is meaningful to optimize our world-class education to propose creative insights and engage into public debate.

OxCNPAIR prides itself in its specialised research team, its independent research perspective and its powerful capabilities of resource integration. All year round, the team (a) publishes original analytical articles, (b) translates informative research papers, and (c) organizes academic conferences at Oxford. In doing so, we aim to realise our long-run vision of aiding China’s seamless integration with the world – socio-economically, politically and culturally.

Our Works

  • Youth+Talk

At Youth+Talk, we share stories that inspire us, and hopefully will inspire you too.
Since its establishment, Oxford has been a centre for bright young minds to debate, innovate and bring changes that shape the world. The Youth+Talk series invites Oxonians to talk about what they do and what drives them. Through digital media channels (YouTube, WeChat, Zhihu, Facebook, bilibili, etc.), we share their messages with the world and bridge conversations across cultures and continents.

  • Annual Conferences

In Feb 2020, OxCNPAIR will collaborate with the Oxford China Forum Society to host the 2020 Oxford China Forum. As the exclusive strategic partner, OxCNPAIR will host the economic panel with the theme of “The turning point of world economy”

  • Qushi

  • Newsletters

The Newsletter is a biweekly publication focusing on a hot national or global current affairs issue.
We unravel complex topics to reveal two core, competing viewpoints. Peppered with our sophisticated commentaries and historical insights, the Newsletter guides you in developing your own fresh, informed and measured perspective.
